Functionality

The coil (foil) unwinder was developed for a cooling unit production. Its function is to unroll the plastic film wound on a roll evenly and under constant tension.

This was achieved with an innovative core clamp and an individually adjustable tension control. After this machine, the film is fed into a deep-drawing machine, and the compression-moulded plastic parts of the refrigerators are created with the foil.
